Very rarely, I mention the fact that being a climate change skeptic not only does not pay but actually costs those of us who have taken an unpopular position on the topic. With my next book on the subject sufficiently under way for me to mention it publicly, I am obligated to mention, too, that my tip jar could use a massive influx from as many people who support this work as possible. All donations make it feasible for me to continue my work and feed my children, and every little bit helps. Thanks in advance! — Harold
Might help if we knew what the book was about.
Nice. I thought this site was dead. Glad to be mistaken.
Can you go into minor detail about what your book will discuss? I know that you’re a liberal who has come to realize that AGW is just a scam to tax people to death. I salute you for learning that. It could not have been an easy evolution.
But I’m wary. I know a lot of liberals. They are far from trustworthy. I don’t want to give you money for your book only to find out that your solution to this imaginary problem is to create a tax on Americans. Promise me right now that your book’s solution is not to tax people, and I’ll send you money.
Well, I’m no liberal. Not anymore. Not in terms of what people think of when they think of a liberal. In my heart, perhaps, still, to the extent that to my mind true liberals are looking out for the little guy, making sure that vested interests don’t run roughshod over regular folk, that sort of thing. And in climate science and all the industry that has sprung up around it, the little guy is getting the shaft at the hands of the liberal elite and its followers.
As you can tell, I’m more a man without a country politically than someone who falls easily into a category. Let me say this: I didn’t make the mistake of voting for Obama twice.
Ok fair enough :). I’ll give you $25 because that’s all I can afford.
Done. Change your donation page when you get a chance. It describes your last book, not your new one.
